Australia: May Chickpea Exports Down 37%
Australia exported 43,856 MT of chickpeas in May, down 37% from April's 69,103 MT, according to the latest data available from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The decline was triggered mostly by low demand in India, Australia's biggest chickpea market.
