Kazan, August 18 (Russian satellite News Agency) -- Russian Agriculture Minister Lute said at the international Forum "Budding: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation" that from January to July 2026, the trade volume of agricultural products between Russia and China increased by 34.4% year on year.
From January to July 2026, exports of agricultural products are up 43.1 percent, while imports are up 15.7 percent, according to a presentation by the Russian Agriculture Minister.
"Agricultural trade is increasing year by year," Lute said. For all of 2025, agricultural trade was worth about $11 billion. Imports and exports are growing on both sides."
The fourth International Forum "Budding: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation" was held in Kazan from August 16 to 19. The forum, which will be held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan from 2023, is an annual platform for the development of economic cooperation between Russian regions and Chinese provinces.
